Since its founding in 2002, GoPro has been on the forefront of small, portable, and durable video capturing devices for those with an active lifestyle: a GoPro video is the natural evolution of both the home movie and the slideshow, allowing users to record personal adventures for breathtaking 4K playback.
The latest and greatest from GoPro is its Hero line, which includes mountable models Hero 4, Hero 5, and the Hero 5 Session; all have sold very well. Now GoPro is joining the race to capture footage from the skies by introducing its GoPro Karma Drone, which is compatible with the cameras listed above. The drone isn’t just meant for professionals either. The Karma Drone was created to be easy for novices of both photography and remote flight to operate.
The Karma Drone also acts as a way to enhance a GoPro cameras versatility when it is not in flight as well, by including features like a selfie stick-like grip handle and vehicle mounts with the unit; this makes it an upgrade for GoPro cameras in general.
GoPro will offer the Karma Drone, without a camera included, for around $1200.00. A carrying case is included with the unit.
