TVs continue their successful diet. LG has introduced one of the thinnest sets available.
LG’s “Picture-on-Wall” OLED TV measures in at 77 inches and is just a quarter-inch thick. The beautiful piece of tech was on display at CES in January, and brought home the 2017 CES Best of Innovation Award for the company. Now it’s available for US consumers.
At exactly 0.23-inches thick, the TV is incredibly light, weighing in at just 27.1 lbs. Its light and sleek design helps it to blend in against any surface, like a high-tech wallpaper. The device doesn’t have a stand; it’s designed specifically to be mounted flush against the wall with magnetic brackets.
Included with purchase is a 4.2 channel speaker bar complete with Dolby Atmos, which also functions as the AV controller, and contains all necessary connection ports. The set includes a Magic Remote. Users will be able to access smart TV features through LG’s webOS 3.5 platform.
The OLED TV’s display is nothing short of beautiful. 4K resolution and Active HDR with Dolby Vision provide astonishing definition and contrast.
LG’s Signature OLED TV Picture-on-Wall W7 Series television is available in 65- and 77-inch screen sizes for $7,999 and $19,999, respectively.
