Powered by a 7.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with a six-speed sequential transmission, the sleek-lined Aston Martin Vulcan is one of the most sought-after cars the British brand has ever made. Only 24 of the 820-horsepower track monster supercars have been constructed to date, making it one of the more exclusive models in the brand’s history.

But Aston Martin is now offering an optional upgrade package for the Vulcan. The Vulcan AMR Pro package gives owners of existing examples of the track-only car the opportunity of distinguishing their Vulcan as an even more high-performance and esoteric competitor.

The improvements? Firstly, new aerodynamics. The Vulcan AMR Pro package includes a number of upgrades that increase and focus the airflow over, under, and all around the entire supercar.

Another revision is in the new, shorter gear ratio, which helps make the Vulcan AMR Pro more responsive. Cornering agility is improved, thus reducing lap times.

On the front end, the wheel arches have been given carbon-fiber panels that help extract the air and reduce lift. Additional dive planes have been added to the nose of the vehicle, and are paired with a new, larger front splitter in order to increase the front-end lift and improve the steering response.

In the rear, the AMR Pro model gets a dual-plane rear wing with a 20mm Gurney flap, with the slotted end plates also featuring 15mm Gurney flaps.

The liberal use of carbon fiber has helped Aston Martin further reduce the weight of the already lightweight supercar. All of the added aerodynamics increase the downforce an additional 625-plus pound-feet, for a total of 2,950.

The AMR Line brand is Aston’s performance brand. The division was launched three months ago, and will specialize in limited-edition, high-performance bespoke variations of current Aston models.
