Atelier DeMonaco has added its newest timepiece to its famed Admiral Chronograph Flyback series.  Called the Admiral Chronograph Flyback Armure, the watch will be available in two versions.

The Armure comes in a scratch-resistant 42mm case. It’s named for the chemical process Atelier DeMonaco calls Armure, which hardens the surface of steel and increases its scratch-resistance.

Powering the Admiral Chronograph Flyback Armure is the brand’s in-house caliber dMc-760 movement with a flyback chronograph. This movement is developed, produced, and assembled by the brand in Switzerland, and boasts a 38-hour power reserve.

The timepiece comes in either polished steel or black DLC with a display case back, and is water resistant to just under 100 feet. Only 88 examples of the Admiral Chronograph Flyback Armure will be produced.

The steel version of the Armure comes with a $13,500 price tag, while the black DLC-treated example is priced at $15,300.
