Iconic auto maker Rolls-Royce took to the 2016 Geneva Motor Show to unveil its Black Badge line, a permanent bespoke vehicle range. The first Black Badge Rolls-Royce models given the treatment were the Ghost and Wraith models, and now the famed British brand has come out with a Black Badge version of its Dawn model.

The first Black Badge Rolls-Royce models given the treatment were the Ghost and Wraith models, and now the famed British brand has come out with a Black Badge version of its Dawn model.

The new Dawn Black Badge is finished with six coats of black lacquer before being hand polished. To complete the murdered-out look, Rolls has even finished the celebrated Spirit of Ecstasy in black chrome. The interior is dressed in matching black leather, with Mandarin highlights.

Giving the Dawn Black Badge its power is a modified version of the Dawn’s 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, which offers 30 more horses and 15 more pound-feet of torque, bringing the numbers to 593 and 620, respectively. Rolls-Royce also installed a new exhaust system that gives the V12 a throaty baritone.

For fans of murdered-out vehicles who have a taste for the aristocratic, the Dawn Black Badge is stickered with a $50,000 premium on top of the model’s usual $320,000 starting price.
