He’s called George the Rolls, or George the Wraith, and he’s the property of skiing dynamo Jon Olsson. Olsson’s newest custom auto is decked out in Alpine camo, massive 24” wheels, super-bright roof-mounted fog lights, and a rack which carries the lights, holds spare fuel cans and sports gear, and adheres to the roof via a super-strong prototypical magnetic system that’s all very hush-hush.
The heavily customized Wraith is not the product of the dedicated craftsmen in Goodwood, although they probably could’ve been easily convinced. Olsson purchased the car and had a few expert tuners have a crack at it, instead.
The engine, for example, was tackled by Absolute Motors. The Dutch team took the 6.6L V12—which in regular Rolls production pumps out 624 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque—and made a few choice modifications, including a larger set of turbochargers, to bring the car to 810 horsepower and 840 pound-feet of torque.
Outgoing airflow comes by way of the exhaust theorists at Britain’s Quicksilver. The system is a custom build, and designed for race-car performance, and a little sound additional sound, as well.
The car’s unique camouflage paint job is a personalized touch, and is not the first of Olsson’s vehicles to get the treatment. An Audi RS6 is similarly dressed, as is a Lamborghini Gallardo, and the racecar known as Rebellion, which the athlete has raced in a couple of Gumball 3000 competitions.
