While most of the customizations for high-end cars come from custom workshops making tuned versions of a stock model, Land Rover has decided to take things into its own hands, and provide its own tuning.

Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations is responding to the lucrative customization trend by announcing a number of new enhancements to the Range Rover model. The intention is to beat the aftermarket tuners to the punch.

The front end earns a more aggressive bumper, a new splitter, and a different grille option. New fender vents flow into rocker panels that run through the length of the cabin to create new design lines for the full-size Range Rover.

In the rear, the aforementioned design lines are continued into the new bumper option with quad exhaust tips.

This new SVO Design Package was developed and tested at the Jaguar/Land Rover SVO Technical Centre in Coventry, UK. The team has ensured that the kit will be available for all of the full-size Range Rovers dating back to 2013.

The new SVO Design Package will be available as a dealer-installed option and will come in all standard exterior trim accent colors. It will cost an additional $13,250, on top of the current $85,650 base price of the full-size Range Rover.

Land Rover currently offers the SVO Design Package at its UK sales floors. It hasn’t been announced whether or not the package will be made available stateside yet.
