“Supergirl” producer-director Larry Teng has just landed a new Los Angeles-area property for nearly $1.3 million.

Located in the foothills above Studio City, the mid-century style home was built in 1952 and recently unloaded by actress Jacqueline McKenzie. The house is ideal for a celebrity owner desiring more privacy: it’s completely camouflaged behind a wall of foliage.

The 2,000-square-foot residence holds three bedrooms and three bathrooms, in addition to a number of unique amenities. Teng was surely drawn to the home’s light brown hardwood floors, the classic raised hearth stone fireplace, and the beautiful wood-beamed ceiling.

If the kitchen and dining areas seem a bit small, the master suite makes up for it with a sitting room, three-sided stone fireplace, and vintage bathroom complete with mint green ceramic tiles.

Moving outside through the living room’s glass sliders, Teng will find himself beneath a covered patio with an outdoor fireplace. Beyond, there’s a good-sized yard that could fit a future pool.

Teng holds several impressive film credits, including the title of co-executive producer on “Graceland” and “Medium.” He and his wife, actress Lesley Boone, own another home in Studio City.
