Moroso‘s M’Afrique collection was first launched in 2009, but the line continues to feature new pieces from a number of top designers.

Those designers worked with artisans in Dakar, Senegal, to create incredible outdoor furniture pieces. The three newest additions to the line come from Concetta Giannangeli, Ron Arad, and David Weeks, and they continue the same high-quality craftsmanship as earlier collection items.

Following in the 2015 addition of Marc Thorpe’s HUSK seating, Concetta Giannangeli has introduced a colorful new woven chair, Sama. The bright addition takes inspiration from a sacred Sufi dance with bold hues and a unique sense of movement.

Ron Arad presents the Big Easy armchair, which is a new take on one of the first designs he created for M’Afrique. The newest Big Easy seat is carefully crafted from bright threads to create incredible, undulating shapes.

Last, David Weeks’ Amaca lounge chair is not to ignored. After experimenting with local weaving techniques, Weeks was able to develop a beautiful moiré pattern that offers a bold spiral look.
