Celebrity photographer Cliff Watts has unloaded his Hollywood Hills home for $4.5 million.

The globally recognized artist, who has photographed stars like Julia Roberts, James Franco, and Halle Berry, was able to sell his California home after just a few weeks on the market. Watts has owned the property since 1999, when he purchase it for $850,000.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home measures nearly 2,800 square feet of interior living space, and was custom designed in the 1950s by Communist architect Josef Van der Kar. Kith and kin to a dacha, then, but a little less rustic, and a bit more colorful in its utilitarian idealism.

A combination living-dining room offers plenty of space for entertaining with features like cork floors, a fireplace, and extra-wide floor-to-ceiling glass sliders.

Outside, beautiful grounds by landscape architect Garrett Eckbo include plenty of tall bamboo, a large koi pond, a swimming pool, and a vintage guest cottage.

Watts owns two other houses in L.A., in addition to an apartment in downtown NYC.
