Corum introduced its trio of Bubble watches two years ago, including the original Bubble Skeleton timepiece. Now the Swiss watchmaker has revealed an updated, fresh take on its skeleton watch, dubbed the Corum Bubble 47 Squelette.

The new Bubble Skeleton watch comes in three new color options, as well as a lower price tag than its 2015 iteration. The skeletonized dial is blue on all three, but the smaller plates and bridges are painted in either blue, green, or purple, offering pleasing a pleasing tonal compliment.

The 47 Squelette also features solid hands instead of skeletonized ones. These hands are painted with Super-Luminova that matches the color palette chosen. The lollipop-like seconds hand of the Corum Bubble 47 Squelette is also treated with a matching color Super-Luminova treatment.

Powering the Bubble 47 Squelette is Corum’s calibre CO 082, which beats at 4Hz and offers a power reserve of 42 hours.

The dial and movement are fit into either a stainless steel or a black PVD stainless steel case, depending on the reference number chosen.

The Corum Bubble 47 Squelette is available for $6,000; that’s a $2,300 price reduction from the 2015 edition.
