Porsche has announced its Exclusive 911 Turbo S; the automaker claims that the newest variant of the iconic 911 series is the most powerful version of the car to yet come down the pike.
Much of the mechanical emphasis of the new model rests in the exclusive power kit, a set of tuning modifications which leave the 3.8L six-cylinder twin-turbo engine capable of producing 607 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. The additional power provided by the kit brings the Exclusive 911 Turbo S to a top speed of 205 MPH, and a mercurial 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds (with the sport chrono option).
The Exclusive 911 will get a good amount of carbon fiber, with bonnet, roof, skirts and wing all fabricated from the super-stiff and lightweight material. The 20” center-lock wheels, usually an option, will be standard in the Exclusive Series, as well as the active sports chassis. Finish color will be exclusive to the series as well, in Golden Yellow Metallic.
Cabin cosmetics will also be unique to the Exclusive 911, with perforated leather interior accented with trim that reprises the finish color. As far as vacationing needs, Porsche is offering a luggage set with the Exclusive 911 Turbo S, as an option. They’re not tossing in the set of Porsche Design luggage, nor are they including a Porsche Design Chronograph wristwatch with the keys for those who pony up the $260K for the car. But buyers can elect the matching luggage set for an additional $5.5K, and the wristwear for $10K more.
The Exclusive 911 Turbo S will be limited to 500 examples worldwide.
