Grado is known for creating high-fidelity headphones with beautiful sound magnification, and now the brand has unveiled its first flagship headphones in more than ten years.
The PS2000e are meticulously crafted to produce clearer, more accurate sound, and many are referring to them as the best headphones the company has ever designed. Considering Grado’s rep, that might put them in the running for best sounding, period. Many audiophiles find the ‘Grado sound’ to be warm, faithful and very engaging.
Each pair features a nominal impedance of 32 ohms, and an extremely broad open-air frequency response between 5-50,000 Hz. Additionally, the headphones boast a hand-carved maple inner chamber that keeps out ambient sounds, creating concert-worthy sound in a much smaller space.
Other features include a wide leather band for extra comfort, metal alloy accents to reduce distortions, and a new driver. After years in development, Grado’s newest PS2000e headphones seem to certainly be worth the wait.
