German builder Riese & Muller has come out with a new handmade E-bike, the Delite. The Delite is a sporty model that can handle rural riding, but has plenty of urban flash in its design; the bike looks terrific.

The Delite is outfitted with a powerful Bosch Performance CX motor that transfers a pedal assistance of up to 300 percent down to the wheels via a sophisticated sensor technology.

Control technology keeps fantastic traction and suspension control to help source this power. The full suspension of this E-Bike also allows the rider to keep contact with the ground in poor road conditions. In addition, there is an active rear-wheel swing arm, a specially developed front wheel, and a co-sprung frame-mounted luggage carrier.

DualBattery technology paired with each Bosch lithium-ion battery produces 500 watts to provide a total of 1,000 watts and a speed of up to 15 mph. There is also an HS model that boasts a Bosch Performance Speed motor and a pedal assistance of up to 275 percent with a top speed of 28 mph.

Additional features include an IQ-X headlamp and an Intuvia display that comes standard, or the option of a Nyon display that comes with a smartphone charging function. The Delite also boasts an ABUS Bordo folding lock, which locks simultaneously with the battery lock, meaning the owner only needs one key to unlock both the bike and battery.

The Riese & Muller Delite comes in a range of different models including the GT, GX and aforementioned HS model, with each offering a different level of battery power, additions, and features.

Priced from $5,600.
