Producer of the hit weight-loss television show “The Biggest Loser,” David Broome, has reduced the asking price of his property in the secluded Estates of The Oaks neighborhood of Calabasas, California, relisting the home for $8,999,000.

Broome scooped up the 1.19-acre parcel for $5.4 million in 2012 and first tried to sell the estate, which is known as Chateau Suenos, for $9.499 million. Right before Broome purchased the property, it was rented for a couple of years by renowned pop star Britney Spears, who dropped about $700,000 customizing the estate during her tenure.

The Tuscan-style villa measures in at 10,559 square feet and features six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The interior is finished with a blend of marble and walnut hardwood flooring, including a host of imported stone mosaic accents, a series of imported limestone mantles, and a pair of wrought iron and walnut staircases.

The house also boasts a self-contained apartment on the main floor with its own sitting room, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette, making it the perfect space for live-in staff or long-term guests.

Bonus features of the stunning house include a wood-paneled elevator, a garage that can hold six cars, a soundproofed home movie theater complete with movie recliners, and a wet bar with a candy counter. A climate-controlled wine cellar and humidor rounds out the amenities.

The property features a large cabana/guest house with its own kitchen, a spacious loggia for al fresco dining, a built-in grill, and a mosaic-tiled swimming pool and accompanying spa.

In order to enter The Estates at The Oaks one must drive through two sets of electronic gates, including one with a 24-hour guard house. Neighbors include Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, Michael Jackson’s mother and his three children, and both Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian of reality-TV stardom.
