Bentley is hoping to establish a singular rideshare service along the lines of  Uber and Lyft with its ‘Bentley on Demand’ luxury auto delivery service.

Coming off a successful trial run of Filld, Bentley’s app-based fuel delivery service, the luxury automaker will now deliver their beautiful vehicles to existing Bentley owners. The service allows owners of the upscale rides to reserve a different car from an available pool for a special occasion, a trip, or just a jaunt.

Utilizing the Bentley Network app, Bentley owners can easily request the delivery of another luxe vehicle of their choice from the fleet. Drivers will then receive a confirmation of their reservation about an hour before delivery.

Following notification that the vehicle has arrived, the lucky driver is instructed on the vehicle’s features by the concierge, and then they’re off to enjoy an adventure in their new, temporary Bentley. It’s a neat idea, and a good way of both emphasizing the uber-luxe image of the brand, and increasing its exposure.

Bentley will launch the service on a trial basis this summer in New York, L.A. and Dallas.
