English musician Matt Bellamy has just put his Italian home on the market. The Muse frontman is asking for just under $2 million for the property.

Bellamy currently lives in Los Angeles, but he’s held onto the lakefront condo that he purchased more than ten years ago. Located in the beautiful village of Moltrasio, on the west shore of Lake Como, the Italian getaway apartment stretches to nearly 2,700 square feet.

Containing with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, the building dates to the 1820s. The original property previously belonged to Italian composer Vincenzo Bellini. Perhaps inspired by its lineage, Bellamy wrote one of his band’s albums, 2009’s “The Resistance,” while living in the home.

Bellamy remodeled the home with a modern aesthetic, including white walls, chevron-patterned hardwoods, and a generally minimalist aesthetic. Set on 1.25 acres of communal gardens, the grounds feature a deconsecrated chapel and a pool by the lake.

The musician owns several other homes, including three multimillion-dollar houses in Los Angeles.
