Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson has just let go of his West Palm Beach, Florida, home for $920,000.
The former presidential hopeful will surely miss the 6,155-square-foot home and all of its luxe amenities. Features like 22-foot ceilings, hand-painted inlays, and marble floors give the mansion an undeniable air of elegance.
Although not as impressive as Mar-a-Lago, the two-story wall of windows, wrought-iron work, and pillars certainly give Carson’s home a palatial aesthetic.
The home features a family room, media room, breakfast area, formal dining room, five bedrooms, and 4.5 baths. It’s a great home for a family and is certainly equipped for entertaining, too, with a large pool outside.
Since being sworn in to his new position as the 17th secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Carson has purchased a 6,400-square-foot home in Vienna, Virginia, which is much closer to the White House.
