James Gunn of “Guardians of the Galaxy” fame has offloaded his home in Studio City for $1.875 million.
The East Coast Traditional-style home measures in at 3,825 square feet, and holds five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. It features a kitchen with beige granite counters, blonde hardwood flooring, a fresh coat of paint, an office with built-in shelving, and a family room with a brick fireplace.
Outside, there is a flagstone terrace that spans the width of the home, a large backyard that holds a small detached office, palm trees, and the California-living staple… a swimming pool.
Gunn originally purchased the house with his then-wife, Jenna Fischer of “The Office” fame, in 2002, paying $875,000. She relinquished rights to the Studio City abode in their 2008 divorce.
Gunn had moved on before selling the property, upgrading to a home almost 3,000 square feet larger on a 3.06-acre parcel in Malibu.
Gunn is also responsible for writing and directing the recently released “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” which is already a box office hit only days into its release.
