A unique new coffee table from Zaha Hadid Design and Leblon Delienne takes inspiration from the ‘Star Wars’ mythos.

Crafted to pay homage to Princess Leia’s iconic braided hair, the Le-a coffee table is a bold and abstract interpretation of the pop-culture imagery.  See it? It’s in there, the headphone-hair.

French brand Leblon Delienne is known for crafting memorable sculptures, furniture, and figurines, so it should come as no surprise that the collaborative creation is so unique. The piece’s smooth, fluid curves and boldly feminine lines are also standard issue for Zaha Hadid creations.

Although Le-a doesn’t even look like a coffee table, the sculptural piece is functional and ideal for any home with black, white, pearl white, or brass finishes strongly represented. While not a traditional fan piece, the Le-a table crosses the boundary between pop-art and more traditional abstract representation.
