Repelica has come out with its new Repelica Camera Bag, the perfect ballistic nylon backpack to protect a photographer’s precious cargo.

The Repelica Camera Bag successfully repels water and dirt using a 1680D Cordura Ballistic fabric exterior. This material boasts the same weave pattern as body armor, and Cordura says it is twice as durable as any other nylon fabric. It’s been a staple of camera bags since the 1980’s, and there’s a good reason why.

To complete the waterproof package, the zippers are designed to prohibit water from slipping in, and there is even a hidden rainfly that can be pulled over in the harshest of conditions.

The interior of the Camera Bag is compartmentalized using mesh, with a quick access zipper on the top of the bag that makes pulling out a camera body and attached lens easy for quick-response shooting needs. A front compartment houses smaller accessories, while a rear padded compartment is perfect for protecting a laptop up to 17 inches.

As an added bonus, there are also straps on the side for tripod attachment, and a front chest buckle to prevent the backpack from sliding off the wearer’s shoulders.

The Repelica Camera Bag measures in at 18 inches by 12 inches and is eight inches deep. The super-durable bag retails for $335 and comes in black or olive green.
