Ex-model and former Beverly Hills housewife Yolanda Hadid made quick work of her Westwood high-rise condo: listed in February of this year for $4.995 million, the property sold for its asking price three months later. Hadid purchased the property in 2015 for $4.59 million.

Located in the Carlyle Residences building, the condo’s interior is inspired by contemporary design. Glass, steel, stone and metallic surfaces fill the apartment, and recessed ceilings highlighted with LED accent lighting give it the expected modern appeal. Beige and off-white predominate, with hardwood floors finished neutral, and a marble fireplace contributing additional texture.

The condo measures 3,950 square feet, and contains three bedrooms and 3.5 baths, and a separate guest suite. The stone used for the kitchen counters is quartz, and onyx and granite finish the baths; kitchen cabinetry is steel. Glass shelves in the common living area, as well as in the walk-in closet, further the somewhat detached effect.

Eleven-foot recessed ceilings provide a pleasing sense of space, and oversized steel-framed windows lend a chic postmodern cool to the margins of rooms. An outdoor balcony offers distant views of the city, and the apartment contains a spa/massage room for in-house pampering. The apartment, generally speaking, is very contemporary, and a little grandiose.
