The electric bike movement is in full swing, with assisted power and eco-friendly engines helping riders get wherever they need to go. The niche marketplace favors craftsmanship, and this bike is a good example of the trend.
Dubbed the Outlaw Tracker, from Emory Motorsports in collaboration with Vintage Electric, the two-wheeler takes the cake as far as style and function, setting itself apart from the competition.
The design of the Emory Outlaw Tracker recalls that of a Porsche, which isn’t a far leap considering founder Rod Emory has been restoring Porsches for almost three decades now. The bike offers owners a retro feel with vintage-inspired leather features. It’s almost like an early Indian motorcycle in shape and stance.
Using a hydroformed aluminum frame, the Outlaw Tracker supports a powertrain that uses electric motors and batteries to hit speeds of up to 36 mph; the battery life of around 35 miles allows for considerable freedom. Getting a full charge is a quick process, taking only two hours and costing less than a quarter from empty to full. There is also a Race mode that gives the Emory bike a little bit of a boost, at the expense of energy efficiency, to handle less friendly roads and terrains.
Emory asks $6,995 for the Outlaw Tracker.
