Amazon has seamlessly integrated home tech with the advent of its Echo and the Echo Dot. “Alexa” has become nearly as common as “Hey, Siri” in many homes.
Capable of controlling home gadgets, assisting in shopping, and even reading the news, Alexa’s capabilities only continue to expand. And Amazon’s new Echo Show will change the game once again.
Echo Show features a major new addition: a touchscreen. The 7-inch screen is paired with a camera, and will display a variety of information, including the news, weather, and a user’s calendar. The speakers feature Dolby processing for crisp, clear sound production, and a good frequency response.
Even better, users are able to video chat with friends straight from their Echo Show with the Alexa app. Owners can also opt to display their Prime Photos, see the lyrics to their Amazon Music, and much more.
