Louis Vuitton continues its trend of adding flashy graphics and designs from envelope-pushing artists and designers to its LV monogram bags.

This new line comes from LV’s collaboration with Jake and Dinos Chapman, who gave new life to the Africa-themed bags of the French brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 menswear collection.

These bags now offer surrealist revisions of Africa’s native wildlife. The British design brothers have added elephants, giraffes, and lions, but of course they’re unexpected representations. There’s a little in the way of caricature going on, but the effect will stir a twinge of frisson.

The Jake and Dinos Chapman/Louis Vuitton range includes steamer backpacks, totes, weekender duffel bags, and wallets. Prices for the pieces range from $750 to $3,400.
