Longtime news anchor Lester Holt is looking to offload his midtown Manhattan apartment in New York City for $6.6 million; a sale at the asking would double his money after a decade of ownership.

The 2,168-square-foot condo apartment holds three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, and is located on Fifth Avenue. Situated in the relatively small NoMad district (north of Madison Square Park), the unit is ideally located.

Holt’s pad is part of the 13-story building that was originally called the Brunswick Building, constructed in 1906. In 2005, the building was reopened after renovations, and it now goes by the Grand Madison Condominiums.

Features of the stunning apartment include large 11-foot ceilings, bluestone countertops in the roomy and well-appointed kitchen, a 48-foot terrace, and sweeping park views.

Holt took over as the weekend host of NBC Nightly News in 2007 and spent time as the lead anchor for the popular show. During his long career, the veteran journalist has worked on “The Today Show,” “Dateline,” and, of course, “NBC Nightly News.”
