High-end furniture maker Poltrona Frau has been responsible for upholstering Ferrari interiors for over three decades. Now, it can add the new Cockpit chair to its list of cutting edge products. It’s of Ferrari homage, and it was completed in collaboration with the design team of the Italian supercar giant.

The Cockpit racing…sorry, office chair offers its owner the ability to call a Ferrari driver’s seat his/her own. The design blends the history of both Poltrona Frau and the iconic automaker. The release is timed for Ferrari’s 70th anniversary.

Two versions of the Cockpit chair will be made: the President and the Executive. Both feature a reclining base and seat, and flashy carbon shell composition, but each model features a unique backrest.

The President boasts a high backrest, borrowing design and ergonomics from competitive racing seats. The Executive model is equipped with a low, slim backrest that is able to adapt to all types of working environments, allowing the user more freedom of movement while seated.
