Sustainability is here to stay, and the concept finds more general appeal when design sells the issue. Modpools’ unique creations strike the balance well, placing style and the reduce-reuse mantra into a single functional context.
Typically, spa lovers are stuck between the choice of a costly (and not so aesthetically pleasing) above-ground option or a time consuming (and permanent) custom creation. Modpools, on the other hand, are literally ready to go in minutes, and installations are discreet and easily reversed.
The patent-pending pools are crafted from modified shipping containers, making them relocatable and quick to install. Each Modpool measures at 8′ x 20′, and comes with a heater capable of bringing water temperatures up at 30°c/hour in -10°c weather.
Owners can even opt for a special divider to keep separate part of the container as the “hot tub,” while keeping the other section cool for summer swims. Even better, a Modpool’s jets, lighting, and temperature are all easily controlled via a user’s smartphone.
Prices for the unique pools begins at $26,900.
