For hypercar enthusiasts, Lamborghini’s Aventador S model is already one of the most desired exotics in the world. But German tuner DMC decided it wasn’t quite good enough, and the team has produced an upgraded model called the “Tecno.”
DMC added a substantial amount of carbon fiber to the Aventador S, including front splitter, rear diffuser, side skirts, and the Centenario-style hood. The hydraulic rear wing is also crafted out of carbon fiber. This wing also allows for the driver to choose between the Corsa, GT, and Insane driving modes, adjusting aerodynamics to compensate.
But the real work DMC put in with the Italian supercar was on the engine. The German tuner took the 730 horsepower 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine and doubled its output. The result? The modified Aventador S now pumps out a whopping 1,588 horsepower.
All of this power pushes the Tecno to leap to 62 mph in only 2.9 seconds, and gives it a max speed of 217 mph.
DMC hasn’t released all of the details about the Tecno, but we know a production Aventador S is base priced at $425,000.
