Taking a bath can be a luxurious experience. Villeroy & Boch is convinced that the tub isn’t just a vehicle, though. As proof, they’ve developed the Squaro Prestige bath and matching Octagan basin. Both are emblazoned with Swarovski crystals.

The mesmerizing aesthetic of the German brand’s bath and basin was designed by Steve Leung. Leung used the Shan Shui, a school of traditional Chinese landscape painting, as inspiration.

Villeroy & Boch have sheathed the exterior of the Squaro and Octagan in leather, and added 6,000 Swarovski crystals cut in a range of sizes, including 5, 10, and 15 mm selections. All of these hand-finished Xirius Rose crystals are applied by hand.

There is no information on the pricing for the Squaro Crystals Edition pieces. Combining Villeroy & Boch, Steve Leung, and Swarovski, though, should give prospective buyers a ballpark idea.
