Aston Martin Cambridge has specially commissioned a new model for the British Royal Air Force’s Red Arrows, the RAF’s premier aerial aerobatic team.

The new V12 Vanquish S Red Arrows edition will come in a limited run of 10 models, with each finished in Eclat Red. Other design cues express the team: the white and blue carbon “smoke trail” livery along the side of the model, and the carbon fiber roof pattern that recalls the canopy of the Red Arrows jet. Of course, the special Vanquish is replete with Union Jack wing badges.

The interior continues the theme: pinewood green inserts were added to replicate the famous Red Arrows pilots’ flight suits, and the seats boast Martin Baker Ejection Seat fabric to create an authentic feel.

The rear of the seats feature the Red Arrows logo with nine aircraft flying in formation. Aston also added a steering wheel borrowed from its One-77 model, which has been out of commission for years now.

Each of the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S Red Arrows edition examples will come with racing helmets and suits to match, custom bomber jackets, a matching luggage set, a 1:18 replica model of the car, and a matching replica model of the famous aircraft.

The 10th Red Arrows Vanquish model will be donated to the RAF Benevolent Fund, a charity that benefits former servicemen and women and their families.
