Actor Constance Zimmer has sold her home in Studio City. Zimmer had set the asking price at around $2.2 million, and negotiated the contract at $2.15 million. The home had been on the market for about a month.

The Spanish Revival-style home’s façade is marked by a strong green influence: creeping vines have entirely sheathed the front of the home, giving it a naturally verdant quality you don’t see every day. A plant balcony, an original front door with wrought iron accents, a tile-accented tiered front stoop, and a fountain amid artful landscaping embellish the entrance as well.

The home probably dates to the 1940’s, and looks the part. Shouldered and stilted arches add complexity and soften, and lighting is a mix of modern and period fixtures—the kitchen pendants are industrial, and dramatically so.

Interior tones tend to the cool side, a good contrast with all the exposed wood, whitewash, and the dark tone of the plank flooring; a fireplace in the Spanish style is a strong historical influence, and grounds the common living areas nicely, and the strikingly painted dining room tosses in some fairly intense warmth, albeit jarringly.

The rear of the home features a classic two-level covered porch and terrace with exposed beams, terra-cotta tile, and a master-suite balcony with wood balusters. Overall, the main residence measures 3,600 square feet, and contains four bedrooms and four baths. The property contains a self-contained guest cottage with private patio.

Constance Zimmer appeared prominently in Netflix’s political potboiler ‘House of Cards’, and HBO’s ‘Entourage’; she currently stars in Lifetime’s ‘UnReal’.
