Koenigsegg unveiled one of its 25 Agera RS series cars at the New York Auto Show preview: called the Agera RS1, the one-off hypercar is tuned to surpass the horsepower rating of even the One:1, with a rating that hits 1,360. But, this is as much a grand tourer as a street-legal track car, and it’s loaded with comforting luxuries.

The RS1 is fitted with Koenigsegg’s 5.0L twin-turbocharged V8 and 7-speed automatic gearbox; it’ll get to 62 in 2.8 seconds, and hit 186MPH in a shocking 12.3. Top speed is reportedly in the neighborhood of 270MPH, or even a little better. The power-to-weight ratio has been improved on over the standard Agera, and the RS1 tips the scales at a hair over one and a half tons, which, along with a bit of cunning tuning, is at the bottom of the numbers.

The RS1 features Koenigsegg’s proprietary stability control and traction systems, as well as their active damping and aerodynamics systems; the car can corner at 1.8G.

Outfitted with a cutting-edge satellite navigation system, climate control, Bluetooth, a digital entertainment system, as well as a hydraulic lifting system for clearance adjustments, and other goodies, the RS1 is made to be the focus of motoring travel, as well as speed. And, the cabin gets a healthy dose of alcantara, and carbon fiber and anodized aluminum accents. It’s finished in arctic white, blue and black.

The RS1 is Koenigsegg’s latest entry in their 25-example Agera RS series; the company states that the series has been sold out since early last year.
