Ercol took to Milan Design Week 2017 to show off new examples of its steam-bent, wood-framed furniture range. The new line—dubbed Marino—was designed by 2016 Design Guild Mark award recipient Dylan Freeth.

The British brand has created a Marino chair and sofa lineup using upholstered seats on the natural wood frames. The pieces recall a few of the classic looks from Ercol’s 97-year repertoire.

The leather-upholstered Marino chair comes with a matching footstool. The chair boasts a curved back and sloping arms all steam-bent to create a contemporary look. There are three color options for the chair.

The line also includes the three-seat Marino sofa. The Marino is offered in a variety of finish and upholstery options, giving the owner a chance to customize the sofa to meet the design aesthetic of the room it will reside in.

Ercol also revealed its new Modulo modular cabinets collection, and its Ponte dining table, which is paired with its Forma chair. For businesses, the British marque showed off its Luca table paired with its Lara chair and bar stool, stackable furniture pieces with a simple linear cross design.
