Iggy Azalea and Nick Young are putting their collective pad on the market, along with all of its associations. The couple picked up the property in 2014, for $3.45 million, and is looking for a quick sale in the neighborhood of their $3.595 million asking price.
The traditional-style home measures 6,630 square feet, and contains six bedrooms and nine baths, including guest accommodations. It features a portico entry, stacked slate structural accents, and, interestingly, a blazing red front door.
The warm entrance statement is a little surprising, because the interior is one extended mood piece. It looks a little like the Addams Family’s holiday getaway home—black has been relieved to grays, and the occasional cool off-white for a lark. Cut-glass chandeliers, dark hardwood floors, and recessed lighting don’t help.
All the glass in the rear of the house does, though. The home design emphasis on natural light, and the clean lines of the windows, French doors, and transoms brighten things up. The recessed ceiling in the dining room, and the coffering in the kitchen, brings some texture into the home.
The property exterior features a sprawling patio with freeform pool, lounge and grill areas, a few patches of landscaping, and a basketball court. The self-sufficient guest accommodations are over the garage: an in-law apartment with one bedroom suite, and an additional bath.
Overall, the result is tasteful, and the property shouldn’t have much trouble landing a buyer.
