Dania Ramirez and John Land have listed their West Hollywood home. The couple is asking $1.799 million for the property, which is located in the hip Norma Triangle area.

The Spanish Revival home dates to 1935, and contains four bedrooms and two baths. The home’s exterior features a courtyard, and more appealing interior features include barrel ceilings, crown moldings and narrow-plank, hand-pegged oak floors. Walls are stucco, and there is a quaint fireplace with stucco mantel in the living room.

The home makes abundant use of glass, with skylights adding to the effect; the dayroom off the kitchen opens onto the little backyard, and makes for a comfortable center of the home. Cinder brick floors and countertops give the room a raw appeal.

Tones are generally warm, and run from soft but intense yellow to an earthy red. One bedroom is accented with a wall in cerulean. But, for the most part, stucco and woodgrain rule the day. It’s a comfortable house, but its most appealing aspects are historical. It hasn’t been altered or modernized within an inch of its 1930’s relevance, and so retains a kind of bygone Hollywood Hills grit.

The property exterior makes good use of California flora, and has a suburban tropical look. The courtyard, in terra-cotta tiles and with a central raised plant bed and water feature, brings a good dose of warmth and Cali esprit de corps to the place as a whole.

Dania Ramirez is an alumnus of ‘Entourage’ and ‘The Sopranos,’ but is best known these days for her starring role in Lifetime’s hit series ‘Devious Maids.’ She has a starring role in this year’s ‘Lycan,’ which was directed by her husband.
