Fabergé has successfully ventured into the world of luxury watchmaking in recent years with the famed brand blending its classical touch with modern horology. The results have sometimes been remarkable.
One of Fabergé’s premium collections is its Dalliance lineup. This year’s offering coming from independent watchmaker Fiona Kruger, who crafted the Dalliance Lady Libertine III, and it’s certainly worth a look.
Kruger came up with the dial design, which uses Mozambique rubies to captivate the eye. Kruger herself lived in South Africa and used her first-hand experience with the beauty of the Mozambique landscape to complete the color theme of the timepiece. The dials of the new Dalliance Lady Libertine III examples all feature hand-painted enamel by sought-after enamel artist Anita Porchet.
All of this beauty is housed in a 36mm, 18k white gold case that is accented by 1.84 carats of brilliant-cut diamonds featured on the bezel.
Powering the Lady Libertine III is the Agenhor-made AGH 6911 caliber, the same movement that is featured in all of the Fabergé Dalliance line watches. It comes with a 50-hour power reserve and is clear as day through a sapphire crystal caseback.
