The team at Colorware is bringing back 80s style, but that doesn’t mean it wants technology from the 80s, too. Colorware knows that while you may wax wistful for your Lisa, you appreciate your iPhone more.
So, for a nostalgic smartphone statement, Colorware has released its new Apple iPhone 7 Plus Retro Edition, which boasts a finish inspired by the original Macintosh computer from the 1980s, complete with a rainbow Apple logo and dark beige stripes along the side.
Of course, it’s only the look that’s retro. The iPhone 7 Plus itself is an unlocked, SIM card-free version with 256 GB of storage and all of the regular specs of the stock smartphone. Colorware will only make 25 examples of its Retro Edition, and each will be a numbered edition.
Colorware will need two to three weeks for delivery time, and has priced the limited edition phone at $1,899.
