Montblanc has released a luxurious new smartwatch that is the first of its kind: a smartwatch with a curved sapphire glass covering the display.

The German company teamed up with Google to create the Summit Collection from Montblanc, featuring classic designs and the all-new Android Wear 2.0 operating system.

Watches in the Summit Collection offer pre-installed apps such as Runtastic, Google Play, Google Assistant, Foursquare, and Uber. Montblanc and Google wanted to make the perfect timepiece to serve as a lifestyle companion for the modern man: cutting edge, and styled, too.

The round touchscreen display controls the timepiece, which also includes a heart-rate monitor, barometer, and 4GB of Flash storage to sync and play music without another connected device. Of course, it also boasts Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Seven different models will feature in the Montblanc Summit Collection, all of which feature a 46mm black PVD-coated stainless steel or Grade 5 Titanium case. A wide range of straps are available, from sporty to classic designs with calfskin leather, sfumato calfskin leather, or rubber.

The Montblanc Summit will be available starting in May, and will be priced from $950.
