President Trump’s Trust Re-Lists Trump Park Ave. Penthouse for $35M

This penthouse at Trump Park Ave.—owned by President Trump—has been on the market for nearly a decade. Initially listed in 2008, and priced at $45 million, the property was renovated and priced at $51 million, then reduced, removed from the market, and listed again, through a trust. The current asking price is $35 million, and the trust neatly refracts ownership.

With 6,278 square feet of interior living spaces across the 31st and 32nd floors, and a pair of outdoor terraces, the penthouse home is nicely proportioned. It contains four bedrooms and five full baths, as well as a pair of powder rooms. Outdoor living space measures an additional 1,600 square feet.

Ceilings are 18’, and floor to ceiling windows enhance the already heady sense of space. The home features a gallery with crystal sconces and double staircase, library, and cutting-edge kitchen with cabinetry by Christopher Peacock. The master bedroom, located on a corner of the building, features plenty of glass; in the master bath, the emphasis is on marble, and lots of it.

Ornate chandeliers, crown moldings, and oak floors in a herringbone pattern are a few of the design features that distinguish the home. The outdoor living areas offer a spectacular survey of the New York skyline; but no Zen gardens?

Built in the 1920’s, 502 Park Avenue was at one time the Delmonico Hotel; Delmonico’s restaurant coined the cut of beef that defined a gastronomic generation. Trump bought the building in 2001 for $115 million, converted it into 120 residences, and reopened it in 2005.
