Actor Ashley Benson recently let go of her Hollywood Hills home. The star of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ sold the property for $2.65 million; she had purchased it in 2012 for $2.2 million. The house went on the market in 2016, and had been originally listed at $2.995 million.

The residence is a 1930’s construction, and contains design elements of the French Countryside and Traditional styles; it measures 3,085 square feet, and contains three bedrooms and 3.5 baths.

The home features high demarcating walls and a turreted covered entrance. Floors throughout are very dark finished hardwood, original narrow plank. Interior tones generally work with offset extremes; although there is a bit of color here and there, white and black is used prominently to accent kitchen and baths.

The bedrooms feature French doors and plant balconies; the master contains a vaulted ceiling papered in a somewhat unique pattern, and an ornate chandelier, as well as a private second floor terrace.

The place can feel quite compact: a small bar is managed into the family room, and a library with paneled walls and ceiling is a bit of an alcove. In that way, it may be a rather strenuous attempt at comprehensive inclusion in 3,000 square feet of living space. The kitchen, though, is bright and airy, with fairly high ceilings, a nice, open layout, and an unpretentious design style, and the foyer staircase is charmingly evocative of old Hollywood.

The home’s exterior features a flagstone patio and pool area with raised spa, and a pergola lounge.

Ashley Benson’s other credits include ‘Spring Breakers’ and ‘Chronically Metropolitan.’ She purchased a $4 million home in Beverly Hills in 2015.
