With the Geneva Motor Show starting last week, German tuner ABT has brought an upgraded Audi R8 V10. ABT wanted to show off their prowess, and impress the jaded Geneva crowd, and they succeeded.

At first glance, one notices immediately that the ABT R8 is definitely not a stock version from the Audi factory floor. An aggressive new body-kit design, larger air intakes, and a lower, firmer stance quickly distinguish it from standard specs.

The more aggressive design doesn’t give short shrift to power to weight ratio, either. The mechanical upgrades ABT made to the R8 include shedding 110 pounds. Some of the weight relief is the result of a new suspension and stainless steel exhaust system.

ABT has also managed to tweak another 20 horsepower out of the V10 powerplant, which brings the R8 V10 Plus to a topped-out output of 621 hp.

There will be a choice of either 19- or 20-inch wheels for the tuned up Audi R8, and of course, the exterior and interior cosmetic elements will be up to the interested buyer, including carbon fiber accents and Alcantara trim.
