Porsche has a penchant for branching out and adding its unique style and flair to non-automotive projects. This time around the famed German marque’s Porsche Design division has come out with its fist laptop: the BOOK ONE.
The Porsche Design BOOK ONE looks a little like the new Microsoft Surface, and a little like a MacBook, and has been outfitted with the best and newest of Quanta hardware inside. This fashion-forward laptop was engineered and built in Germany, boasting an anodized aluminum body with a detachable tablet option and distinctive automotive design features.
The BOOK ONE comes with a 13.3-inch touchscreen display that offers a 3200 x 1800 resolution and 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity. Inside is 16GB of RAM, 512 GB of SSD storage, and a 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor.
The Porsche Design BOOK ONE comes with a $3,199 price tag and represents an ambitious foray into the computer world.
