Actor Constance Zimmer has listed a home in Studio City. Zimmer has set the asking price at around $2.2 million.

The Spanish Eclectic-style home features a vine-covered Colonial façade; entirely vine covered. A plant balcony, a front door that appears to be original, a tile-accented tiered front stoop, and a fountain amid some artfully varied landscaping set off the entrance. The home probably dates to the 1940’s, and looks it inside and out. The rear of the home features a classic two-level covered porch and terrace with exposed beams, terra-cotta tile, and a master-suite balcony with wood balusters.

The interior is a nice blend of modern updates and traditional features. Arches keep the spaces soft and fluid, a wood-burning fireplace centers the living spaces, and the mix of dark-toned narrow plank hardwood floors and whitewashed stucco gives the home the classic interior contrast of the style. Bathrooms look to have retained original tile; that may not be the case, but they certainly don’t have an engineered appearance. The kitchen features hanging light fixtures very much in the industrial fashion. Whitewash predominates, although forays into soothing cool and, in the case of the dining room, fairly intense warmth, offer a little spice.

The main residence measures 3,600 square feet, and contains four bedrooms and four baths. The property contains a very airy looking self-contained guest cottage with private patio.

Constance Zimmer currently stars in Lifetime’s ‘UnReal’; she received an Emmy nomination for her role in the program.
