Bentley is expanding its lineup options with a pair of RTW couture automobiles marketed toward the most blasé purchasers of the English brand: the Mulliner Silver and Gold Mulsanne Hallmark models. Pick your precious metal and your Mulsanne, and Mulliner—the custom design arm of the automaker—will provide you with an eye-catching ride sure to attract lots of attention.
The Silver and Gold Hallmark Mulsanne vehicles are appointed with custom interiors. Metallic silver or gold hide upholstery is used to dress the cabin, as well as Bentley’s ‘Hidden Delights’ storage spaces. Interior and exterior coloration is two-tone. Alcantara rear cushions and illuminated tread plates displaying the owner’s example number, and an optional cocktail cabinet, fill out the interior, while the exterior gets a retractable Bentley hood ornament in either solid silver, or gold-plated silver, with a matching metallic line running along the body of the car. The fascia of Hallmark Mulsanne vehicles features a silver or gold overlay—depending of course on which variation is chosen—as well as a Mulliner emblem.
The inspiration for the limited edition series, the Bentley press release tells us, originates in the meaning of the word ‘hallmark’; an official seal of authenticity indicating the purity of precious metals, which came to mean any indication of the genuine.
No pricing information is available for the Mulliner Hallmark series Mulsannes. A new Mulsanne’s base price, however, is around $300K.
