Trevor Noah, host of ‘The Daily Show,’ will soon be settling into a penthouse duplex in New York City. The property went under contract to Noah for $10 million, and had been listed with an asking price of $11.45 million prior to the sale.
The apartment is located in Stella Tower, a building on 50th street, in Hell’s Kitchen. The residence measures 3,596 square feet, and contains three bedrooms, three baths, and two half-baths. All bedrooms are en-suite; baths feature slab vanities, tiled floors, and classic fixtures. The master bath features dual shower and sinks, and soaking tub.
The apartment’s design is minimalist, with clean lines, steel-framed oversized windows, industrial-inspired light fixtures, and hardwood for a bit of warmth; a dining room chandelier provides a little decoration to the interior. The kitchen features wood cabinetry and solid oak floors, and hanging vent hood. The main living space is open-concept, with fourteen foot ceilings, and contains modern amenities such as a Nest Learning Themostat and radiant-heated bathroom flooring.
The second floor of the apartment opens to the property’s outdoor living space: a terrace measuring nearly 1,000 square feet, which features a broad, sweeping survey of the New York City skyline, and the Hudson River.
Comedian Trevor Noah was born in South Africa, where he got his start in show business, and began developing the playfully acerbic satiric style he has since developed into a mature comic voice. He has hosted Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show’ since 2015.
