Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Métiers Rares (Rare Handcrafts) has produced a spectacular watch. Dubbed the Hybris Artistica Mystérieuse, the new timepiece will be produced in an ultra-exclusive run of just 5 pieces.
Complete with an orbital flying tourbillon, and a unique, skeletonized casing, the Mystérieuse adds a graceful new temporal wrinkle to the Swiss watchmaker’s Hybris Artistica collection.
The 42mm, 18kt rose gold case features double sapphire crystals, and a water resistance of a little more than 160 feet. Not that you’d want to take it diving.
Inside the case is Jaeger-LeCoultre’s caliber 941 that offers a power reserve of 50 hours and incorporates the aforementioned orbital flying tourbillon. The mother-of-pearl dial that plays off the rose gold accents is also skeletonized, and the black leather strap has a skeletonized 18kt rose gold clasp that continues the motif; a chic finish on a dynamic piece.
Jaeger-LeCoultre has yet to release pricing information.
