Hollywood Exec Bill Johnson and Reality Star Wife Leah Forester Asking $20K a Month for L.A. Condo

Producer Bill Johnson and reality-T.V. star Leah Forester are offering a Los Angeles home for rent. The duo is asking $20K/monthly for the property.

Located on a beachfront lot in Venice, the contemporary-style house measures 3,031 square feet, and contains three bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The exterior of the home is a boxy blend of poured concrete and glass.

The interior, on the other hand, is substantial and quite warm. Whitewash, recessed lighting and all the hard angles are liberated somewhat by a fairly adventurous blend of textures and toning. Floors and staircase treads in maple, Bauhaus staircase balustrades, walls finished in azure blue or papered with playful designs, and a wall in a children’s room painted brightly with what appears to be a Hopi design pattern all balance out into a whimsically haphazard overall vision.

The kitchen is generously proportioned, bright, and nicely designed, with substantial granite counter tops, and maple cabinetry echoing the tone of the floors. The living room features a fireplace set into an azure mantle; French doors with frosted panes—designed to emulate Japanese panel doors—open onto an outdoor terrace. There is a second terrace off the master bedroom, which surveys Venice Beach.

Johnson purchased the home in 2003, for $1.75 million.

Bill Johnson is co-chairman of production company Lotus Entertainment. He founded The Enlightenment Network, a charitable organization dedicated to using artistic expression and arts education to liberate disadvantaged youth.

Leah Forester currently appears in the Bravo reality-T.V. series ‘There Goes the Motherhood.’ The program debuted last year.
