Last year, at the behest of Stefano Giovannoni, a collective of creatives was formed called Ghidini 1961. Its purpose? To craft modern and cutting-edge mass-produced designs utilizing brass as a central material, and make cash out of cool kitsch.

This time around Ghidini took to the recent Maison et Objet 2017 to debut its new, reimagined ‘Brass Collection’ that uses chrome, polished steel, rose gold, copper, and gunmetal finishes to create a unique and custom look.

Part of the new Ghidini lineup is Giovannoni’s own Omni collection, featuring pieces that come in copper bronze, stainless steel, brass polished, and gunmetal finishes. Part of the collection are the Omni bowls, which feature two small human forms playfully situated on the rim.

Another standout piece is the Nowhere Bullet vase crafted by Studio Job. Available in chrome, rose gold, and polished brass options, this vase describes a story of two wild girls traveling across the United States.

Other Ghidini pieces include the Flamingo lamp and Florida Bowl from Nika Zupanc, and a host of pieces from Richard Hutten, including the Butterfly coat rack, Tip Top trays, Opera Tables, and Double O champagne cooler.
