Logitech has made many webcams over the years. Now the longstanding technology company has delivered a first in the tech arena with its new 4K resolution webcam.

The Logitech Brio 4K Pro Webcam allows its users to utilize an infrared-based facial recognition setup as a security and log-in feature, thanks to HDR and Windows Hello support.

Lighting conditions are not a problem for the new Logitech 4K webcam, either. Since it includes Logitech’s RightLight3 with HDR, the webcam is able to perform well in both bright and low-light situations, as well as in high-contrast and brightly-lit background conditions.

The Logitech Brio 4K Pro Webcam comes configured with a 90-degree field of view, with the option to reduce the FOV to 78 or 65 degrees through an optional software download.

Video calls are made at 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, 1080p resolution at 30 or 60 fps, and 720p resolution at 30, 60, or 90 fps.

Logitech’s Brio 4K Pro Webcam is currently available for $199.
